Basketball system is okay
We got this for our three year old grandchild and he loves it. The ball is perfect for his hands and he plays with it a lot.
It was easy to assemble, but is not as sturdy as it could be. We'll have to see how it last through the tosses and the weather.
Great product but not sturdy
I love this product(amazon also had the most competitive price), however after just a couple of months of use, this product hasn't sustained well. My son is only 3 yrs old and has not used this product in unintended fashion. First the screws came off and I had to make a trip to home dept to buy more sturdy metal screws. Then the basket keeps coming off because the snaps that go into the back board came loose. Untimately it broke off. Does anyone know if there's a replacement part I can order for this? At this point my son cannot play with this.
Great Basketball Goal
My grandkids live in Minnesota, so most of the items I buy are sight unseen. I was undecided between this and another. After reading the other reviews, I made a decision to send this one. My son said it looked just like the real one and was really sturdy. And best of all, the shipping was free.
Durable and Fun!
What a cute basketball unit this is! I ordered it for two toddler girls under 4 years of age. They enjoy watching the big guys playing basketball. This unit is well made and very durable. It would have to be to withstand the shipper's (UPS) rough handling. The box arrived smashed, torn, and had a 7-inch split. Nothing was damaged, but the net, sticker, and hardware for attaching the backboard to the pole were missing. Amazon told me to call the manufacturer, and Spalding/Huffy sent me a replacement set. The backboard has the NBA team emblems that make the unit look professional and help the little ones to recognize the various teams. I am sure that the toddler girls will enjoy playing with this, and it will teach them eye and hand coordination. Thank you, Amazon and Spalding/Huffy. Great item.
Toddler Sports
I purchased this to use when I have children in my home. We have been able to use it indoors as well as outdoors. It is lightweight, easy to assemble, easy to use while functional and safe. It is an excellent system for children who are not old enough to use a regular basketball goal, but teaches them how to play and interact with others.
